The ice cream ball lets you create your own delicious home made ice cream whilst playing ball at the same time. The ball itself contains 2 compartments, an outer compartment where you add ice and a little rock salt, and the inner compartment where you place your ice cream ingredients.

Once packed with ice and your ice cream ingredients simply start playing with the ball. As the ice cream ball rolls around the ice cream is cooled mixed inside, ready to cool you off after your game.

It takes about 20 minutes to make a pint of delicious ice cream, great for sharing with your friends. Now I must admit that the ice cream ball isn’t going to stand up to being kicked around, but can be rolled or shaken. A great novelty for parties and picnics, as it requires no electricity or batteries.

Jigsaw puzzles have been with us for hundreds of years. Originally designed as educational tools, they soon became an enjoyable pastime with thousands of new designs being made. Pictures were either glued or painted onto wood, before being cut up into pieces with a fine saw. If like me you hate getting up in the morning, and are always reaching for the snooze button, then this little gadget may well be the solution. This is an alarm clock with a twist.

The secret behind this waker-upper is a small ball attached to a propeller attached to the top of the clock. When the loud siren type alarm sounds, dragging you from your sleep, the ball and propeller launches itself into the air, to land somewhere in the corners of your room. The only way to then turn of the alarm is to drag yourself out of bed and find the propeller top, by which time you should be awake enough to go and find your breakfast.

This is the second electronic cigarette that I’ve decided to write about. The thing that sets this one apart from the previous one is that it comes in two parts instead of three. Where the previous cigarette had a separate atomiser with the GreenSmoke electronic cigarette the atomiser is built into the cartridge. This means that each new cartridge that you use has an fresh atomiser ensuring that it produces a good quantity of vapour.

The 2 parts of the Greensmoke electronic cigarette are the rechargeable battery and nicotine cartridge. When you inhale on the cartridge the battery heats the atomizer that then produces the nicotine vapour.

As there is no smoke produced by electronic cigarettes they can technically be smoked smoked anywhere. The smoke produced by real cigarettes is also the most harmful part of smoking, so by eliminating this you greatly reduce the health risks associated with smoking, although you are still taking in nicotine.

The cartridges themselves are available in various flavours from tobacco to coffe, and also have varying nicotine strengths from 16mg down to 0mg, so you can even use the electronic cigarette to wean yourself off of the nicotine habit, whilst still going through the motions of smoking. Usefull if it’s the physical habit that you find hardest to break.
