Butterfly Shaped Jigsaw Puzzle

Jigsaw puzzles have been with us for hundreds of years. Originally designed as educational tools, they soon became an enjoyable pastime with thousands of new designs being made. Pictures were either glued or painted onto wood, before being cut up into pieces with a fine saw. Later cardboard was used and with the advent of modern machinery jigsaws could be easily mass produced.

The one thing all these jigsaws had in common was that they were square or rectangular. Today however, jigsaw puzzle design has come a lot further and are now available in many different shapes.

There are circular jigsaws, jigsaws cut into fish or butterfly shapes, ball shaped jigsaws where the picture is wrapped around a full 360 degrees and even full 3d sculpture type jigsaws.

These shaped Jigsaw Puzzles make a great alternative to the normal square or rectangle shaped flat jigsaws, giving them a whole new perspective.

SkyBot Attack – Flying Robots

 PicoZ Skybot Attack

PicoZ Skybot Attack

Remote control toys have always been a hit with the kids. When I was young these type of toys wee limited to cars and boats, limited to just forward and backward motion with the odd left and right turn thrown in. Anything else was out of the price range of most people or needed an acre or two of manoeuvring room.

But as you would expect in today’s hi-tec world things have moved on. Now remote control toys have to be able to hover and fly around all the space of your living room. First off there were indoor helicopters followed by various flying insects and aeroplanes.

Now there is a new breed of flying toy in the form of SkyBots. The SkyBot adds the missing element in the flying toy arena, and that’s the ability to have a laser shoot out in the air. The PicoZ Skybot Attack set comes with two twin channel flying robots each with it’s own independent controller.

Each robot is equipped with a laser and sensor pad ready for battle to commence. Hitting your components sensor pad with your laser, temporarily disables your opponents robot causing it to drop out of the sky. Great fun for quiet times in the office or for challenging friends and family from the comfort of your arm chair.
