The Sun Jar is an amazing invention that stores daylight and then releases it again when it gets dark. As the name suggests the

Sun Jar is basically just a jar, and looks like any other jar in your home, only most jars don’t spontaneously start to glow when it gets dark.

The sun Jar stores the power of the sun in a solar powered battery and then automatically switches on an energy efficient LED light at nightfall, glowing with the brightness of approximately 1 candle. Totally automatic and portable the Sun Jar can be easily moved around and used both inside and outside.

In order for the Sun Jar to work efficiently it needs to be placed in an open space in direct sunlight, such as a windowsill or outside. Dimensions are just 16cm x 10cm.
