Sony 360 degree Bloggie (PM5K HD)

The Sony 360 degree Bloggie, or PM5K HD to give it it’s model number, is a smart little video camera that records in HD mp4 format. It is aimed at the video blogger market with features that will let you upload your footage straight to youtube.

All video cameras allow you to video the action taking place in front of the lens, but what about what is going on at either side or even behind you? Well this is what sets the 360 degree Bloggie apart from the rest of the video cameras. Simply snap on the included 360 degree lens and you can take HD video footage of the full 360 degrees around you.

The 360 degree footage that you take with the Bloggie can either be viewed as a circular film strip or flattened out to view as one long strip.

The cameras lens itself can also rotate through 270 degrees giving you a wide variety of video angles. You can take video footage in front of the camera or by simply rotating the lens you can film yourself, whilst still being able to see the cameras view screen.

On top of all this the camera has a 5 megapixel stills camera option, a 2.4″ LCD screen for viewing of videos and photos, a 4GB memory stick and inbuilt usb connection that slides out from the base of the camera allowing for quick and easy connection to your PC or laptop.
